Netflix 10 Most-watched Original Movies Shows About 99 million people probably watched at least two minutes of Extraction.
Netflix is drawing the curtain back on the figures, inch by inch.
The entertainment service issued to Bloomberg a list of the 10 most watched movies ahead of its second-quarter earnings call on Thursday. The tallies recorded are focused on the amount of accounts that reached play during the film’s debut’s first four weeks. In previous calculations, Netflix considered a “viewer” as someone who had at least seen Two minutes of information, but it is not obvious if the Bloomberg list is using the same measures. Topping off the list is Extraction from last April, featuring Chris Hemsworth, with the notorious Bird Box coming in second in 2018.

The category is filled with adventure videos, with Netflix star Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston satire Murder Mystery creeping up into the top five and Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman dropping in right afterwards. Most of the initial top-viewed videos come from the last couple of years , which makes sense considering Netflix’s increase in viewership.
Since theaters across the world stay empty, and development is just starting to pick up again, Netflix figures are expected to start to increase.
