A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Mr Clement Osagie, has advised the leadership of his party in the state against the imposition of any aspirant for this year’s governorship election. Edo Osagie, in Benin City, noted that Ikhimi’s committee could not be seen as credible because half of its members were in the campaign team of an aspirant and as such the party cannot trust them to come up with an unbiased report. Calling on the state PDP members to be ready to resist such biased report, Osagie called on the leadership of the party to toe the path of honour and allow the party to undergo party primaries for the governorship nomination and allow a winner to emerge.
