Many stakeholders in the hospitality sector of the tourism industry were not prepared for the experience they got at a demonstration kitchen set up by BCE foodservices Equipment Company recently in Lagos.
The modern fully functional Demonstration kitchen set up within the company’s showroom was kitted to accommodate the cooking and refrigeration equipment used within a hotel/quick service restaurants.
The kitchen, which was readily and freely available for the use of those present to test new recipes and new dish varieties, had an executive chef to take them on practical.
Speaking on the demonstration kitchen, Prince Toye Oyinlola, chairman of the Board of BCE Food service Equipment, said the kitchen is intended to be used as demonstration kitchen for their equipment from ovens to fryers to grillers and microwaves among others.

While noting that they plan having client days, where clients will be invited to products detailing and watch equipments in full use this month, Oyinlola said any of their equipment in the demo kitchen can be tested at any stage prior to purchase.
“All our products sold come with warranties and we offer after sales services with spare parts being readily available.”
The demo kitchen also marked the opening of the company’s first store in the country as BCE Foodservice Equipment has been the backbone of the restaurant and foodservice industry in Southern Africa.
