As of late, Google has added some cool components to its console application Gboard. Gboard now bolster emoji proposals (similarly as observed in other console applications), GIF recommendations has been included as well and furthermore interpretation of words specifically in the console.
With the new Gboard words translation feature, you no longer need to switch from one app to another, just to translate words (like using Google’s Translate app). Sadly, you’ll still need to use the translate app if your message is in a foreign language. Gboard only translate English words to your desired languages when typing.
This feature has already been seen in GBoard 6.1 Beta, but is now rolling out with the latest version of GBoard.
In addition, emoji and GIFs can be inserted to the text without having to switch to the emoji or GIF selection tool (for supported apps). Google has also added some scenic and dynamic backgrounds to give keep things new. The update should still be rolling out, you just have to chill while the roll out is complete.
